Zogila - Ladakh – Ratang
Day 1 ): Srinagar
You will be transfer from Srinagar Air-port to Deluxe House boat. After having your early lunch and visit Nishat and Shaalimar Garden which was build during the Mughal period. In evening you will go on Shikara to explore Dal lake enjoy the cool breeze and watch the Sun set.
Day 2 ): Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar
Gulmarg is the spot very famous for summer as well as for winter. In summer you can enjoy the beauty of green velvety grass, Pine trees on the slopes and gorgeous snow caped mountain, you wont feel enough looking this beautiful dreamland. You can ride on Gondala ( cable car ) to Khalinmarg and back to Gulmarg. In witer its turned to World highest skiing slope. In evening drive back to Srinagar. Overnight in Houseboat.
Day 3 ): Srinagar – Sonamarg – Kargil
After Breakfast you will start toward the Kargil. After 2 Hrs drive you will reach to Beautiful Valley of Sonamarg which is known as meadow of gold have lunch here and explore the Beauty of sonamarg and start at 1:00 Pm after a while ascending toward the Zogila you can see the Baltal below on the bank of river from were the pilgrim toward the Amarnath starts. After crossing the Zogila before reaching to Drass you can see the Tiger Hill on your left of your Car, Have Tea break at Drass which is the second Coldest Habitant place on the Earth, in winter temperature dips to – 45. Reach Kargil in evening. Overnight in hotel.
Day 4 ): Kargil – Leh
Your journey will start after Breakfast toward Leh, At Mulbek you will visit the 9 Mtrs high Metreya Buddha curved on Rock. After crossing namkila ( 3719 Mtrs) and Fotola ( 4100 Mtrs )you will descent toward the Lamayuru Monastery, visit monastery and drive to Khalse have lunch and start for Leh. Over night in hotel at Leh
Day 5 ): Leh – Shey – Thiksey - Hemis
After a full day and night rest.Today you will go and visit some Monastery Shey- Thiksey – Hemis and sindhu Ghat then back to hotel.
Shey Gompa is about 15 kms from Leh. It used to be the summer palace of the kings of Ladakh. There are lots of Stupas and Gompas built around the palace and Beautiful view of the Indus river from rooftop. Shey palace was built by Deldan Namgyal in the beginning of 17'Th century AD. Main attraction in Shey is the 12m Shakyamuni Buddha statue made of Bronze was brought from the Tibet.
Thiksey Gompa, close to Shey is about 19 kms from Leh. The monastery is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Ladakh and belongs to the Gelukspa order. The main attraction is the three stories Metriya Buddha statue. From the rooftop you can see the Panoramic view of the Indus valley and some famous monasteries.
Hemis, about 45 kms one of the most famous and largest monastery in Ladakh. It belongs to the Drukpa order and was founded in the early 17'Th century.
Day 6 ): Pangong Lake
After Breakfast leave by 6:30 am for Pangong Lake14, 500 ft, through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. Third Highest Motorable road in the world. Pangong Lake, a Highest Salt Water Lake in the World, Shared by TwoCountries India & China. Enjoy the beauty of lake on Banks of the Lake while appreciating the changing Colors of fascinating high Altitude Lake. By the end of Dec it gets totally frozen. Leave back to Leh by Same Route. O/N Leh.
Day 7 ): Leh – Serchu
Afte early breakfast you will proceed toward Serchu, After two and half hours later you will cross the second highest motorable road Taklangla ( 5328 Mtrs ), after descending the taklanla you will reach to barren flat road which is nearly 45 KM in length then you reach to Pang where you will take Lunch. After crossing Lachulungla ( 5020 Mtrs ), Nakila ( 4950 Mtrs ) and after Gata loops you reach Serchu. From beginning till Serchu you will see the beauty of nature and its changing colours of the mountains after crossing each passes. It will be an unique experience and unforgettable moment of your life. Overnight in camp.
Day 8 ): Serchu – Manali
Start early morning after breakfast, after Baralacha la ( 4890 Mtrs ) You will see Chandratal on the left of your car. At darcha have some tea and start again toward the Kelang have Lunch here and start again for Manali, after 3 Hrs drive you reach to top of Ratang-la ( 3978 Mtrs ) spent some time here and start again for Manali. Overnight in hotel at Manali.
